Brief Description

A list of jobs and responsibilities for kids. This isn't technically an activity but it's a way to help kids feel comfortable and give them a role in the group.

This Is How You Play

Jobs give bored children something to do. It helps extra mature children do something that feels more adult-like and it makes many children feel special and important. Some jobs you could assign kids are:

  • Chair putter upper
  • Door holder
  • Water bottle checker
  • Scout
  • Recycler
  • Toy carrier
  • Chair putter upper
  • Joke teller
  • Fact finder and teller
  • CIT / Teacher assistant / Special Helper
  • Sun screen checker
  • Classroom artist
  • Plant waterer
  • Snack bag carrier
  • Composter
  • Worm farm keeper
